This is one of the key aspects of our technology (alongside size, automatic chaff collection, and smart app controls) that makes roasting on the IKAWA Home Roasting System so much more practical and rewarding compared to other systems.

After a couple of back to back roasts, depending on the size of the room that you are roasting in, you may find a bit of smoke accumulating. We recommend that if you are intending on roasting a few batches open a window or turn on your hood vent system beforehand.
