Everything in the roaster is food-grade, so there is no cause for concern of anything harmful from the roaster having an effect on the coffee.

The roaster chamber is made of spun food-grade aluminum. The transfer casting/the extrusion (what helps move the roasted coffee to the collection jar) is cast aluminum and coated in PTFE. The cyclone is also made of spun aluminum and is also covered in PTFE.
